About Me

I am excited to start a career in engineering, where innovation is limitless. My final year capstone project involved using Supervised Machine Learning and Data Mining to improve speech recognition technologies. I'm currently expanding this research and publishing my findings in an IEEE research paper. This work sharpens my skills and keeps me updated with the latest in machine learning.

I'm also very interested in global technology trends, as they often bring new opportunities and challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball and the piano, which helps me to learn from diverse experiences. Additionally, I love to travel and explore different cultures, broadening my views and insights.

Speech Emotion Recognition using Machine Learning

• Researching supervised learning and data mining (Python) for audio datasets.

• Conference paper submitted, journal paper to be submitted.

Signal Processing

• Collection of Signal Processing scripts developed in MATLAB

Logic Gates

• Designed and tested various logic gates for performance.

Control Systems: Ball and Beam

• Programmed ball to balance on beam, maintaining steady state for 4 seconds before being displaced 4cm and returning to steady state within a 2 second settling time.

Colpits Oscillator

• Designed, simulated, and constructed a Colpitts Oscillator using BJTs, with an Op-Amp as a buffer.

Autonomous Car

• Prototyped a self-driving car to complete randomly designed courses using a combination of 6 sensors and 2 servo motors.

SmartPot

• Prototyped a plant pot with self-watering and sensor monitoring capabilities.

• Used a Raspberry Pi camera module to host a web server, displaying picture time-lapse of plant.

Queens Engineering App

• Developed an app for Queens students to request lab and study equipment, and reserve rooms.

• Connected to a MySQL database to update inventory count and display active staff members.
